Wordless Wednesday?

I have seen a lot of fun ways to post specific things on blogs around the web. There is Not me Monday, which is hilarious. There is Wordless Wednesday, which is super cute. And now, over here, there is Sibling Saturday.

some will be cute, sweet, silly

some will be sad, surprising, chaotic, hilarious!

I will run it much like Wordless Wednesday (which is why I am posting about it today). I'll chose a picture of my kids together (maybe 2, maybe 3, maybe 4 of them). The pictures will express they way my kids interact, the life of being a sib to 3 others. I'll include a quote, or an overheard or nothing.

My kids are cute.

What can I say.

I made them!

They are one thing (actually 4 things!) I can take credit for!

And since I am not very crafty. I can say without a doubt that they are my very best art work!!

I love the way they love each other and the way they have fun together. I love the way they dress up and put on shows for me. I love the way they sit in a chair with a book, right out of the blue. I love the way the big one reads to the littles. I love the way they all talk in baby voices to their baby brother (although I will be honest that this is also super annoying to hear after a while!). I love the way they get engrossed in something and enjoy one another. I love the way they stick up for each other when the need arises. I love the way they help each other when they see that someone needs help. I love that they think of one another when they aren't together. And I love the way they are starting to play together for more and more uninterrupted minutes!! I also love that they are "normal" and down to earth. I like to look back and laugh at the silly fights they have and the tears they shed for meaningless moments. I love the way they are siblings, true and honest, nothing fake about it...siblings!

I would really like to remember these times over all others. I would like to looks back and remind myself that they do indeed like one another when I'm in the middle of one of those not-so-lovable days. I would like to share these moments with their family who isn't in town. And more than anything, I would like to clog my blog with pictures of the wonderfully sweet faces that are a part of my everyday! So there you go. Look for it on Sunday!

I should note that this is also a glorified way for me to add beautiful pictures to our blog that have loving taken by my very talented husband that often go overlooked over on his flicker page. Although I should also note that some of them might not be quite as beautiful as others (mine vs Johns!). And further more, I started this idea and actually wrote this post months ago (October 2011!), but am finally getting around to posting it now. Last, but not least, this project is not going to be quite as easy as I thought way back then, as my camera no longer effortlessly uploads pictures via WiFi. So sad. Now I will have to make John upload them for me.
